Ella McGillis, a senior at Central Catholic High in Oregon, took third in the girls varsity small school race at the 44th ASICS Clovis Invitational at Woodward Park in Fresno, Calif. McGillis covered the 5-kilometer layout in 18:40.2 to lead five Central Catholic athletes placing in the top 30 to secure the team title with 82 points.
